「運転免許証の期限が切れてしまいました」と言うには？

⇒　My driver's license has expired.

※ driver's license = 運転免許証

※ expire = 期限が切れる

※ ...have/has expired = 期限が切れてしまった状態でいる〔現在完了形〕

※例：My gym membership has expired.（ジムの会員証の期限が切れてしまいました）

　例：The best before date of this milk has expired.（この牛乳の賞味期限切れちゃった）＊best before date = 賞味期限

　例：The warranty has expired.（保証期間が切れています）

　　＊warranty = 保証期間

※「運転免許証を更新する」という場合は、 "renew my driver's license"

　　＊renew = ～を更新する

＜ストーリー＞耳コピなのでかなり不正確です(???は聞き取れなかった部分)。緑部分は正確です。

Miku: OK, sure.

Miku: Let's go for a drive. I really like to drive, but I haven't had a chance lately.

Eddy: Sounds good to me. By the way, you do have a license, right?

Miku: Of course, I do. Look.

Eddy: I see. Nice picture.

Miku: Thanks. Wait. What day is it today?

Eddy: It's September 15th.

Miku: Oh no! My driver's license has expired.

Eddy: What? Well... It's a good thing you noticed.（気づいてよかったね）
