「私はあなたをがっかりさせません」という表現。

「がっかりはさせません」と言うには？

⇒　I won't let you down.

※let you... = あなたを～の状態にする

※down = 気落ちして・悲しくて

※ " I won't  "「私は～しません」という強い意志を表す

※例：Don't let me down.（がっかりさせないで）

　例：Don't let the team down.（チームをがっかりさせないで）

　言い方によってかなり相手にプレッシャーをかけてしまうかもしれないので、言い方に注意。軽く言った方がいいかも。

Hannah: Hey, MIku. The new manager is asking for you.

Miku: For me?

Eddy: She's meeting was all ??? employees.

Miku: Hello, Brenda.

Brenda: Oh you must be Miku. Please have a seat.

Miku: Thank you.

Brenda: May I ask you a question? Why did you choose this job?

Miku: Well... I would like to work abroad in the future.

Brenda: That's fantastic.

Miku: I wanted a job where??? I could improve my English.

Brenda: How wonderful! Communication is so important. It's the key to world peace.

Miku: Yes! I agree completely.

Brebda: You can change the world, Miku! I'm counting on you.

Miku: I won't let you down.

 Brenda: I'm happy to hear that!
