「それを私に任せておいて」という表現。

「私に任せて」と言うには？

⇒　Leave it to me.

※leave ～を残しておく、「私にそれを残しておいて」つまり「私にそれを任せて」

※日常的に非常によく使うフレーズ。

☆参考：何かを引き受けるときのほかのフレーズ

　Trust me.　信じて。

　Count on me. /you can count on me.　私を頼りにしてください。

　※count on...～を頼りにする

Miku: I'm sure Kazu will love this chocolate cake.

Hannah: I hope so. Do you have special someone to give your cake too?

Miku: I wish. I'm going to give ??? ??? for everyone at ???

Hannah: That's so sweet of you.

Miku: OK. Are you ready? Let's put them in the oven. 

Hannah: When the cakes are finished, we have to gift-wrap them! Oh, but we have to wash the dishes first...

Miku: Leave it to me.

Hannah: Really? I can help.

Miku: It's fine. Don't worry about it. I'll be done before you know it! （あっという間にやっちゃうから）

※before you know it=(直訳:あなたがそれを知る前に)あっという間に
