「どうだった？」と気になる出来事の成り行きを聞きたいときに使えるフレーズ。

どうだったかを尋ねるには？

⇒　How did it go?

※デートやテスト、プレデンテーション等、相手が参加したり取り組んだ事柄についてどうだった？と聞く表現。

※How did the test go?　（そのテストどうでしたか？）

※How did the interview go?　（インタビューどうだった？）　

※How did audition go?　（オーディションどうだった？）

☆ How did it go? と言われたときの返し方

    ・うまくいったとき

　It went perfectly.　（うまくいったわ）

    It went fantastically.　（信じられないくらいうまくいったわ）

    It went well.　（いい感じだったよ。 / うまくいったよ）

   ・うまくいかなかったとき

　It didn't go well.　（うまくいかなかったよ）

　It didn't go very well.　（最高ではなかったよ）

Hannah: Sorry, I'm late.

Miku: Don't worry about it. Were you talking with Kazu?

Hannah: Yeah.

Miku: So, how's your first japanese boyfriend?

Miku: What dou you mean? You went on your first date last night, didn't you?

Hannah: Well, yeah...

Miku: How did it go?

Hannah: It was fun. We went to a fancy restaurant for dinner,

              and then we took a walk along the beach...

Miku: That's so romantic. So did he ask you to be his girlfriend? 

Hannah: That's the problem. He didn't!

Miku: What? He didn't? I can't believe it!
