「なんて親切なんでしょう！」と言うには？

⇒　How kind of you!

※ 相手から親切な行為を受けたり褒めてもらったときに、感情を込めて感謝を伝える決まり文句。

※ kind を他の単語に変えることもできる。

　例：How sweet of you!　※sweet = 甘い / 優しい

　例：How nice of you!　※nice = 優しい

　例：How clever of you!（なんて賢いの！）

※後ろに to +動詞の原形を使って具体的に伝えることもできる。

　例：How kind of you to tell me the truth!

　　　（真実を教えてくれるなんて なんて親切なんでしょう！）

　例：How kind of you to guide me! <道案内してくれた人に対して>

　　　（案内してくれるなんて なんて親切なんでしょう！）

Susan: Hello.

Makoto: Hi, Susan. Please come in. How's your new home?

Susan: It's wonderful, thank you. The view from window is splendid. And it's nice and quiet.

Makoto: I'm glad to hear that.

Susan: I brought papers that you gave me last week.

Makoto: Thank you. What's this?

Susan: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't ask you first. I corrected your English for you.

Makoto: How kind of you! I was just thinking of asking someone to check my English.

Susan: Really? I'm glad that you feel that way. I've been an English teacher for more than 30 years. It's a ha??? of mine.

Makoto: More than 30 years? Very Impressive.

Susan: Thank you. You found a lovely home for me and my husband. It's the least I can do for you!（せめてこれくらいさせて！）

Makoto: Thank you.
