「なんて時間の無駄なんでしょう！」と言うには？

⇒　What a waste of time!

※ waste = 無駄、浪費

※ What a ... ! = なんて～なんだろう！

※ time の部分を他のことばに替えていうこともできる。

　例：What a waste of energy / power / effort !

　　　（なんて エネルギー/パワー/努力 の無駄だったんだろう！）

※例：What a waste of money!（なんてお金の無駄なんでしょう！）

＜ストーリー＞耳コピなのでかなり不正確です(???は聞き取れなかった部分)。緑部分は正確です。

Jessica: Hi, Asami.

Asami: Hi.

Jessica: Oh, what are you doing?

Asami: I have to sew this name tag on my daughter's swimming cap. I'm almost done.

Jessoca: Oh, OK. Your sewing is so cute.

Asami: Thank you. This is called the blanket stitch.

Jessica: The age of a blanket often looks like that.

Asami: That must be where the name comes from. It takes some effort, but I like it.

Jessoca: I'll try it next time.

Asami: Yes, you should. OK it's done.

Jessica: It looks great.

Asami: What's this? Oh, no! I sewed the front and back together!

Jessidas: Oh dear. I guess you'll have to start from scratch.（あらら 最初からやり直しね）※scratch = ひっかき傷、from scratch = 最初から

Asami: What a waste of time!

Jessica: It happens to the best of us.
