お時間を割いていただき、と何に感謝をするのかを丁寧に言う表現。ちょっとかしこまった言い方。

時間をくれたことに感謝を伝えるには？

⇒　Thank you for your time.

※親しい友達、恋人や家族間などくだけた間柄では使わないかも・・・。

※手紙やメールでも最後に締めのことばとして使うこともある。

Annika: Hello, Makoto-san.

Makoto: Nice to see you, Annika. Have a seat.

              Sorry to call you so suddenly.

Annika: It's OK. I was on my way home anyway. (大丈夫ですよ どちらにしても帰り道だったので)

Makoto: I'm glad to hear that. So I need you to sign this document.

              Please read it carefully before you sign.

Annika: Alright. Let me take a look. Everything looks fine.

             Should I sign here?

Makoto: Yes, write there.

Annika: There we go. Is that all?

Makoto: Yes, that's all. Thank you for your time.

Annika: No problem. Well, see you later.

Makoto: Bye.

Annika: Bye.
