「試着してもいいですか？」と言うには？

⇒　May I try them on?

※ May I ...? = ～してもよいですか？

※ try ... on = ～を試着する

※ wide-leg pants（ワイドパンツ）は複数形なので them

※ May I try...? = ～を試してもいいですか？

　例：May I try this sample?（これを試飲してもいいですか？）

※ May I ...? と Can I ...?　の違い

　May I ...? 目上の人や初対面の人に対して【丁寧】

　Can I ...? 友達や親しい人に対して【カジュアル】

Asami: What a  lovely shop!

Bettina: Isn't it? The owner select each item personally.

Asami: I can tell.

Karen: Hello, there. Welcome. Bettina, is this a friend of yours?

Bettina: Yes. Our daughter go to the same school. Excuse me, I'll be right back.

Asami: Sure. There are so many beautiful items in the shop.

Karen: Thank you.

Asami: Do you mind if I take a look?（ちょっと見てもいいですか？）

Karen: Go ahead. Please take your time.

Asami: OK, thanks. Oh, I like these pants.

Karen: Nice choice. These wide-leg pants are very popular right now.

Asami: May I try them on?

Karen: Of course! Right this way.
