「思っていたより難しいです」と言うには？

⇒　This is harder than I thought.

※ "harder" の部分を他に変えて「思っていたよりも～です」ということもできる。

　例：This is bigger than I thought.（思っていたより大きいです）

　例：This is easier than I thought.（思っていたより簡単です）

※ "This" の部分を変えていうこともできる。

　例：She is a lot funnier than I thought. （彼女は思っていたよりずっと面白い人です）

＜ストーリー＞耳コピなのでかなり不正確です(???は聞き取れなかった部分)。緑部分は正確です。

Antonio: You know, my hobby is playing a musical instrument.

Makoto: How nice. Are you playing the violin?

Antonio: Well let's take a look.

Makoto: Amazing. What a interesting sound!

Anotnio: It's called a musical saw.

Makoto: I've never heard of that. Is it easy to play?

Antonio: Give it a try. Put the handle between your knees. And bend the saw into an "S" shape.（柄をひざの間に挟んで そして のこぎりをS字に曲げるんです）

Makoto: An "S" shape... Like this?

Antonio: That's it. Now play it with the bow.

Makoto: This is harder than I thought.

Antonio: No one can play it well at first.
