・相手のやっている行為をやめてもらうには、きちんと事情を伝えることが必要。

【Dorothy】Oh, it's sounds healthy.

【Dorothy】Stop doing that. You need the owner's permissyon first, right?

◎Today's Key Sentence◎
Stop doing that. [やめて]
You need the owner's permission first, right? [理由]
(そんなことをするのはやめなさい。オーナーの許可がまず必要ではないでしょうか？)
・Stop ...ing = ～するのをやめる。実際に何か起こっていることをやめる、なので何かが起こっている感触のする ing形が使われる。
・need は一般性が感じられる単語。
・permission = 許可
・..., right? 断言すると相手の反感を買ってしまう。相手の気持ちに寄り添うちょこっと疑問文が必要。「～ですよね？」

・「あなたはマネージャーなのだから、お客様の不満を無視してはなりません」。
・相手の社会的・仕事上の地位を持ち出すことによってやめなければいけない当然の理由を示している。
・mustn't = Don't ... と同じくらいの強さを持った非常に強い禁止の表現。「～しちゃだめだ」

It's none of your business. [理由]
・「口を挟まない方がいいよ。あなたに関係ない話です。」
・keep out of it は、その外に自分が居続けなさい・そこに入ってこないでください・距離を取りなさい＝つまり「口を挟まない」
・It would be better = ～の方がいいでしょう
・ここの business は「あなたに関連する事柄」という意味合い。
・結構冷たく聞こえる表現なので気を付けよう。

話しかけてきた友人に「邪魔をしないで これらの文を書かないといけないんだ」と伝えよう ※邪魔をする = interrupt

・can 気軽な許可を与えるときに使う。「～していいですよ」
