「それはどうかな～」と相手の意見に反対していることを匂わせる便利な表現。

「それはどうでしょうね」と言うには？

⇒　I'm not sure about that.

※直訳すると「私はそれについて確証していない」＝それはどうでしょうね という意味。

※本心としては反対だけど、ストレートには言えない・はぐらかしたり反対ということを匂わすときに使える表現。

※例：I think your friend really likes me.（あなたの友達が私のことすごく好きだと思うの）

　→ I'm not sure about that.（ちょっとどうだろうね）

※照れ隠しでこの表現を使うこともある。

　例：You are the most caring, honest, brilliant, stylish sempai I know.

　　　（私が知っている中で 一番気遣いある正直で賢くてかっこいい先輩です）

　　　→ I'm not sure about that.（<照れ隠しで>それはどうでしょうね）

＜ストーリー＞耳コピなのでかなり不正確です(???は聞き取れなかった部分)。緑部分は正確です。

Jimmy: Makoto san, you have to help me!

Makoto: Jimmy, what's going on?

Jimmy: Look at this.

Makoto: Are these all stamps?

Jimmy: Yes. It's my special stamp collection. But one bookes??? is missing.

Makoto: Missing? Where did you lose it?

Jimmy: I don't know. Maybe I dropped it somewhere.

Makoto: Dropped?

Jimmy: What should I do?

Makoto: Well...

Jimmy: I know... Makoto san, can I borrow this megaphone?

Makoto: What are you going to do with it?

Jimmy: I can make announcements around the neighborhood.（<切手の冊子が見つかっるまで>近所に呼びかけて回るよ）※make announcement = 知らせる

Makoto: I'm not sure about that.

Jimmy: No? Well then, what should I do?
